Borneo Culinaire Association (BCA) Sabah and Sarawak

is a non-profit organization, officially registered its certification on 3rd December 2013. The BCA aims to play an active role in supporting and soliciting essential relevant culinary activities in the East Malaysia region. We are also a member of the Malaysia Food & Beverage Executive Association (MFBEA), in which we will collaborate together to organize various events in the future. We aim to promote and build good network with professionals from Food & Beverage, Hospitality and Tourism industries, supported by the Malaysian government.

Develop a local culinary association

consists of professional Chefs, Food & Beverage Professionals and Suppliers, that will earn respect and support locally and internationally for East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak) region.

Develop, promote interests and improve

the quality standards of the of Food & Beverage industry in East Malaysia region.

Develop and promote training and educational programs

for the members of the association, including sharing of standard best practices.

Develop a team of Culinary and Food & Beverage professionals

to represent East Malaysia in the national or international events.

Build and develop good relationships

with the Food & Beverage, Hospitality and Tourism industries for mutual benefits and support for the association’s activities.

Build an association

with active participation of its members, leveraging the strong network of the association and develop professional growth.

Dear All, on Behalf of Borneo Culinaire Association Committees

It is with great honor, Borneo Culinary Association (BCA) is proud to present our first international event: Borneo Hospitality Challenge 2020 (BHC 2020) event.

The event is supported by Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Environment Sabah, Sabah Tourism (STB) & Tourism MALAYSIA (TM). The event will be held at the Sabah International Convention Centre on 30th – 31st May 2020.

As a member of the International Food & Beverage Association & Malaysian Food Beverage Executives Association IFBA & MFBEA, we strive to assist and improve the quality and standard of the food and beverage industry in Sabah. Experienced and qualified WACS & MFBEA certified judges will be invited from overseas to judge the competition.

This will be the first international culinary competition to be held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah which comprises of 20 categories from Pastries showpiece, Barista to Hot Cooking.

This prestigious event will sees the participations from South East Asia countries: Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippine, Taiwan, Sabah & Sarawak and West Malaysia.

Not only that, we are also looking forward welcoming the local Food Beverages Outlets, food supplies & Chain Restaurants to join us in this prestigious event.
